Guests at the Cheese Shop, can taste a variety of award winning cheeses from the tasting table, while watching the cheese being made or shopping for interesting local products. Our shop assistants will tell you more about the cheese and the cheese making process. They can also assist with cheese selection for cheeseboards, recipes and the best ways to enjoy the products.
All kinds of interesting goodies from gourmet products specially designed to accompany cheese, to gifts and cheese paraphernalia are available. Exclusive to the Cheese Shop is our Danish-style Feta cheese; two varieties of cream cheese; and the Cheese Gift Box which contains a selection of Klein River Cheeses and makes the ideal gift.
Situated near the Cheese Shop is a large playground with trampolines, jungle gym, merry-go-round, tree houses, swings, a slide, sandpit, balance beams and see-saw. Visitors are welcome to enjoy their purchases on the lawn in the park, while the children play.
Children can also feed the many different animals that live on the farm, from Kabous the miniature Falabella pony to Shrek the goat and Horace the pig!

From Cape Town/Hermanus
Take the R43 to Hermanus. Drive through Hermanus and alongside the lagoon.
When you reach Stanford, turn left onto the R326.
After 7km turn left onto a short gravel road. The gravel turn off is well sign posted with blue & yellow banners advertising “cheese shop”; “play-park”; “picnic lunches” and “farm animals”
Follow the gravel road till the farm comes into view. Take the second road left (through the main gated entrance) to the Cheese Shop & Office.
